Textiles

Some of the strongest selling points of Acme Made laptop bags and cases are the bag materials sourced and used, one of the most unique materials they use is called “Telun”. Telun is made only in Italy and is an all natural canvas with a black poly urethane coating on one side – the other side is the natural canvas. Thus during bag creation Acme will create without linings to display this natural Telun material which is practically water and stain resistant.

Eco Friendly

Nylon is used extensively in the laptop bag industry and there are varying types and quality of Nylons, Acme have their own Nylon manufactured in Korea and Italy to ensure their high standards are met. Usually Nylon is backed by PVC backing – however as this can be harmful to the environment Acme back their own with PU (Poly Urethane) other more eco friendly textiles.

Cleaning

If you purchase an Acme made bag or case Acme suggest cleaning with a non water based dry cleaning solvent, the longer a mark or stain is left on the bag the more likely is going to be permanent – so clean straight away!
